The Dubai CSD provides investors with a wide-range of services. Dubai CSD services allow investors to swiftly access information through innovative tools, such as eServices to track your sharebook, submitting and tracking your online form requests, track and manage your stock portfolio and manage your investments.

1. Apply for an Investor Number in Dubai Financial Market

You can apply for an Investor Number through one of the following options:


DFM App
Apply for an investor number in minutes through a simplified process on the DFM App.

Trading Member
You can approach a DFM licensed brokerage and they will obtain an Investor Number on your behalf by filling Investor Number Request Form and attaching supporting documents.

2. Appoint a Broker

  • After obtaining an Investor Number (NIN) from Dubai CSD, appoint a licensed broker by opening a trading account and complete the necessary forms.
  • The broker carries out the trading transactions (selling and buying) at your instructions.
  • Different brokers may offer different services and products to their clients. To select a brokerage firm, view the full list of licensed brokerage firms, including common members across DFM and Nasdaq Dubai and their services. You can contact the brokers to inquire about the products and services they offer to investors.

3. Trading – How to Buy and Sell Securities

Now that you appointed a broker, you can start trading through the options provided by your broker such as through the phone or online. You can monitor the prices and trading data of DFM and Nasdaq Dubai listed securities on www.dfm.ae by registering for real-time data access.

DFM and Nasdaq Dubai together provide a wide choice of financial instruments to investors which include listed equities, derivatives, ETFs, Sukuk and Bonds.
